I found the hotel to be a great choice overall. The rooms were very clean and spacious, providing a comfortable stay, although there was a slight issue with a lingering smell in the bathroom initially. The service was generally good, with some staff members going above and beyond, while a minor incident resulted in a negative experience. The location was excellent, offering easy access to key attractions and dining options, though some parts of the building seemed outdated. The dining options were satisfactory, and the hotel facilities served their purpose well.

The service was a mix of being very helpful and friendly, while also showing a more rigid focus on being 'right. The hotel is conveniently located across the road from the lively market and iconic Mi Tierra Cafe and Mariachi Bar. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location was fantastic, right across from the vibrant Hispanic market area and within walking distance to the River Walk and Alamo. The rooms were connected through a hallway, which was convenient, but unfortunately, mine was opposite the laundry room, making it quite noisy. The service at noon was exceptional, going beyond my expectations, though they didn't have ripe bananas for breakfast as I had hoped.
